Me and the autistic girl I pulled by being accomodating of her sensory needs

it's kind of wild how most people basically just pretend covid isn't really a thing anymore. like. man. I understand getting on with your life and like accepting that the government doesn't give a fuck so there's a lot you can't do much about but like. idk. I kind of expected at least some portion of people to continue masking in high density areas when cases are high but that doesn't seem to matter to like 99% of people. could be on a crammed full bus with cases at a peak and there'll be like two people wearing a mask. feels bleak that we've just culturally resigned as a country to doing nothing when it felt before like there was some amount of communal care and responsibility for our most vulnerable.

Fuck hostile architecture, I want unhostile architecture. I want benches to be designed to be as easy as possible to sleep on. I want little places for pigeons to nest to be purposefully put on buildings. I want people designing public spaces to think about what they'd be like to skateboard on. I want "Please loiter" signs. I want people to be kind. I want...

I think it’s important to remember that executive dysfunction doesn’t just apply to doing chores (work, cleaning, etc). It also makes it difficult to engage with your hobbies.

Some people don’t seem to understand that when I say that I don’t have the motivation to do something that I have said I want to do, it has nothing to do with not being interested enough in said thing. It is just that my brain is not allowing me to do it even though I want to.

extremely funny when AI artists feel the need to put watermarks on their images

like oh you're worried about misattribution and image theft huh. you're worried that someone's gonna take the image you made and claim it as their own. or strip away the context and your name. or use it in ways you didn't consent to. boy that sure would suck huh. i bet that would feel really bad. i bet that would be really annoying. i b

It's actually completely ok to be attracted to a fat person because they're fat. You're not inherently disrespecting them by not ignoring and actively appreciating their fatness. You don't see the same level of scrutiny towards people who have preferences about hair color or height or facial hair. Having a preference doesn't mean you dehumanize people who have the feature you're attracted to.

When you're not forcing them to do or be anything they don't want to be, there's nothing inherently immoral about being attracted to specific physical traits.

Stop treating fatness as a trait that people are attracted to other people in spite of. Stop treating fat people like they're undesirable and any attractions towards them is inherently suspicious. Especially if you're acting like this is somehow for the benefit of fat people.

Ads for weight loss should be illegal. Hope this helps.

Ads for prescription drugs should also be illegal. Hope this, too, helps.

hey idk who needed to hear this but. being able to push yourself to function through pain does not, in fact, make you able bodied

if you were able bodied you wouldn’t be in pain at all. btw.

to be clear it is normal to be sore/have some pain if you’re doing high stress stuff like long runs, exercising, heavy lifting, etc etc. but if you’re in pain because you Walked or Stood Up. that’s not how your body is supposed to work.

werewolf transformations and magical girl transformations swapped

"s-stay back! the change... i can't control it!" *horrifying transformation sequence of bones cracking and flesh rearranging, hair growing out, ribbons and flashy jewelry bursting forth from skin, screaming in agony*

alternatively,

"In the name of the moon, I'll punish you!" *lifted up in a rainbow beam of glittering magic. each part of the body bathed in dazzling light before revealing sharp glistening claws, long fangs, and a dark shaggy coat.*

You should be angry, you should demand change, you are completely correct to be angry about how you are denied access to a livable and cheaper life because your representatives, local government and Senators sold you out to the automobile lobby. We need to fight to change our cities for the better and you can't fight without any anger.
